About Me: My interest in disc golf began January 2024. I saw people at local parks playing and became curious. My journey began by making holes in my neighborhood and throwing regular frisbees. Finally, I bought my first disc on March 15th. In the used bin at a local shop was a Dynamic Discs Enforcer. While not the greatest beginner disc, at the time disc golf was a fun game to play with friends at the park,  but that soon would change. I began playing more and more to the point that it was on a daily basis. Whenever I wasn't on the course, I was practicing my putting and throwing. Soon enough, it came time for my first ever tournament. On July 29th, I headed to a local course with high expectations, but was soon disappointed. Shooting +2 and ranking outside the top 10 definitely was a huge blow to my confidence. Still, I kept practicing and got top 10 at my next event. It was about this time when I started my YouTube channel, Olivez Disc Golf. At the time it was a fun way of practicing my editing and disc golf skills but it soon started to gain traction. At this point, I had breached the top 5 in tournaments and finally, had a chance to win. Despite efforts, I fell short a few strokes of my first win, receiving 2nd. More practice led to an almost identical situation at the next event shooting a mere -1 and getting yet again, second place. As of right now I have no wins but almost there. As for my Youtube, I encourage you to check it out, I have over 100,000 lifetime views and 450 subscribers in only 6 months!
